Senior Pastor Dr. Steven Ward Sr. was born in Mobile, Alabama. He is one of seven children of Willie and Bertha Ward. His father was a laborer and his mother a head-start teacher. Pastor Ward graduated from Mattie T. Blount High School in Prichard, Alabama in 1972. He attended Faulkner State College for one year, and enlisted in the United States Army as a Combat Infantryman Soldier in 1974. He retired from the United States Army with 21½ years of military service in August 1995.
Since his retirement he has earned a Ph.D. in education from Richardson University, an Ed.S. Education Specialist in Administration from Walden Richard W. Riley School of Leadership, a M.Ed. Masters of Education from National-Louis University, a B.S. in Liberal Arts from Regent University the State of New York, an Associate Degree from Central Texas College Killeen Texas.
Dr. Ward has worked in Department of Defense Education System teaching children in the sixth grade, third grade, kindergarten and sure Start for a period of fifteen years in both Germany and South Korea.
In December 1998, Pastor Ward obeyed the call of Christ and joined New Life Christian Fellowship in Wurzburg, Germany, a new ministry formed by Pastor Kenneth and Tammy Holloway under the anointment of Bishop Nate and Valeria Holcomb of the Christian House of Prayer in Killeen, Texas.
For the past 15 years, Dr. Ward and wife Co- Pastor Dorothy and son Mitchell have been travelling the world speaking, giving workshops, teaching, and opening Multicultural Children’s Ministries in Europe and South Korea. Pastor Ward also served as Prayer Ministry Leader for the Multi-Cultural Gospel Service in Daegu South Korea.
His ministry has crossed all racial, denominational, cultural, age, and gender lines. Pastor Ward noticed during several years of teaching children that the children’s ministry often is overlooked, and he believes it is one of the most important.
He was licensed and ordained as Pastor of “Love All Around Us Ministry Europe” by Bishop Dr. Willie and Prophetess Dr. Gwendolyn Bradley, Pastors of Anointed Remnant International Ministries of Prattville, Alabama on July 14, 2011 and sent out to open a church in Europe. He currently serves as a volunteer coordinator for the “National Day of Prayer “and Pastor of Anointed Remnant International Ministries-Europe, Landstuhl, Germany. We give all praise to God for his many blessings.”
